Broadmoor started because reaching an investment account online should be the calmest part of the day, and too often it is not. Friends kept asking the same plain questions — where do I begin, what does the screen want, and how do I know it is really the official site? So we wrote the steady guide we wished we had.

Everything here is written for someone who wants a straight, safe answer. We walk the sign-in and the account view in the order people meet them, and we say, every time, to start at the official site. We are an independent guide; we are not the broker, we give no investment advice, and we host no real account.
